ABCmouse is an award winning program that helps your kids learn while playing games and reading books. ABCmouse is an awesome way to give your kids time to play games during some quiet time while stuck at home. 

#3: NASA- Teachable Moments

NASA is offering many different experiences for children to explore and learn more about. You can learn about Mars, the galaxy, or even a hidden world. NASA also offers videos and projects that go with different lessons. This is a great program to help implement science into your child’s day to day activities while at home.

Science Fun For Everyone is a great website that has many different science experiments with detailed instructions. 

#5: Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems

Mo Willems is a children’s author and artist. Willems is hosting a drawing time every weekday at 1 pm ET, also available later on YouTube. This is something fun to do with your kids as Willems demonstrates how to draw one of his characters from his books! 

#6: Explore the National Parks

This resource is the coolest one yet! The National Parks partnered with Google and made a virtual tour of some National Parks. This website it very interactive with a tour with a Park Ranger and options to move your screen around to see more about the park. This is a great option for a “field trip” during the school day!

These live cams of fish, penguins, and sharks is a fun and relaxing activity for curious kids. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is offering free live cams to see their animals while we are stuck at home. Check out these cool animals and see what they are up to!

Check out the real surface of Mars recorded by NASA’s Curiosity rover.  This is very interactive and can provide many different lessons into space and science.

The Smithsonian’s National Zoo has implanted webcams so kids can enjoying watching some of their favorite animals. Watching animals is very calming and a fun thing to do especially during feeding time!

Google Arts and Culture created a way for you to experience all kinds of famous artwork from various Art Museums. This is a great way to incorporate art into your child’s school work. You can click on an actual piece of artwork and it will give you a paragraph of information about the piece and the artist.
